Day 16: Coober Pedy to Kulgera

Well probably an easy day to write up today, we took off out of Coober Pedy and headed up the Stuart Highway to Kulgera just over the Northern Territory border - and yes you can do 130 km/hr legally. Mind you we had trouble doing any more than 90km/hr with a massive head wind working against Ray's boat atop the car.

(FYI: The geographical centre of Australia is just East of Kulgera)

Bridget's turn to set-up camp - took a while:

We caught up with more friends at Kulgera and made some new ones too. We bumped into one guy from Sheparton who I met at Lake Mungo two weeks earlier. Had a good night in the Kulgera pub over a few beers.
